Catch-up Blog!

I suppose I should get back into blogging. I haven't since the Bull riding event in July of last year.
Where should I start? I think I'll start from late July. We had the rye grass field catch on fire after the tractor with the baler caught, and then the other baler also caught on fire.
My sister and brother-in-law were home at the time it happened, mom, dad, and I were in Mollala area coming home from grandpa's farm. Here is a picture of what happened to the baler and tractor.

We were fortunate that the fire response was so quick, we came in and the fire truck was sitting in the middle of our driveway keeping our house safe from the fire. They were fighting the fire in 100 degree weather in the afternoon, we also had a bunch of wonderful farmer neighbors/family with water trucks.

In late July, I went to the coast with my Grandma and cousins.

I rescued a crab that came in with one of the waves and was upside down, I didn't want it to die, so I rescued it.

I flipped it, right side up, so it wouldn't die, and I watched it go back out to the water, praying that it didn't get trapped by a trap.

It was a gorgeous day at the coast and at home it was in the upper 90's.

August, was family get together time. I didn't want to post pictures of my family members, so I decided to post pictures of the donkeys and goat that the whole family enjoys visiting with after we have gotten done with our picnic!

 The happy Donkeys!!

this is one happy goat having it's head rubbed!

In September, we had an open house in Human Resources, and other offices too!

We had Chemeketa mugs with candy laying around
We welcomed all to our office with our white board!
We had so much fruit and naughty chocolate stuff!

 We had flowers for decorations

We gave out lots of these buttons to people for our open house!

Late September, was the Lunar eclipse, I enjoyed not the eclipse, but the sunset that night.

In October, We had Halloween, I didn't carve a pumpkin, but did etch it to look like a leaves of trees.

I found a pumpkin sprout inside the pumpkin...which was a little bit odd!

Here is the finished pumpkin.

I also made some goodies for the people I work with.
I along with another co-worker were recognized for 10 years at Chemeketa.

When we came back from breakfast-we had our white board decorated by another co-worker telling us happy 10 years!

We even got some goodies and a cool mug!

In November, I celebrated turning 29!

Mom made this awesome flower arrangement for me! She knows me too well!
She also made this wonderful chocolate cake!

In late November, we went over to the coast, and looked around, and watched the Dory boats come in and go out at Pacific City.

This was a fun time and the weather was really pretty, as you can tell by this photoHere are a couple of surfers!

On the First Friday of December I went with Katey and Sean to the Christmas Tree Lighting!

Here is a picture of Santa in the fire truck!

A tree decorated and pretty
On Christmas Eve we had our annual family get together, at grandma's house.

I will do the start of 2016 in a different blog entry. I hope you have enjoyed catching up on what I was up to since July.
